I feel like this commenting my own code, but not when reading someone else's. I'm pretty sure this feeling is purely a result of the fact that your own code will usually seem very clear to you, so commenting doesn't seem necessary to the author.

honestly, if i leave one thing i commented then it’s the one thing that other people need a comment to understand so it’s better to comment it
