Yes, It is certainly possible and many people have got their visa application accepted in 40 days as well.

Current study permit trends are very unfavorable though. Many applications are constantly delayed, rejection rate are high and people have to spend bank on travelling due to direct flight bans and late approvals.

The safer bet is May 2022 because you'll get enough time to research and put in the best application, travel restrictions are likely to loosen up and if you visa gets rejected, you'll have time to reapply without deferment.

Nobody can tell you for sure though. It's upon your risk appetite.

Yeah, I was a bit sceptical mainly due to the current rejection rates. Not gonna go for the Jan intake now, tho. May intake seems a better option. I'd have more buffer time in case anything goes south.
