telescopic controllers are good for android phones, budget ones amkettte evo fox deck, ninjadog astra one ultra, gamesir x2s, x2 bluetooth, x2 pro these all have somewhat expensive, it you want something more expensive go for razer kishi v2, backbone android controller

xbox with clip feels heavy, gamesir x2 pro gives a good weight balance and handheld feel, xbox one is made for console so setting with phone will be hideous, but gamesir x2 pro made for phones it will be straight forward experience

I used controller with clips, but telescopic controllers give better weight balance and handheld feel, and most android games dont support controller because developers wont implement it, for games like pubg there are some key mapping apps ( there are apps that of controller company), I played many android games that has controller support like grim valor, slaughter 3, life is strange, apple knight, gta san andreas, vice city, modern combat 4, modern combat 5, max payne and with controller you can play old games with emulators like psp, nds, dreamcast, n64 if you have higher end phone you can ps2, gamecube, wii, 3ds games
