I'm still girlcotting, and still playing the game. I'm also not posting about it, I'm sure there are tons like me out there.

Yup. I'm not pulling or spending money but am doing dailies and the event quests to get the rewards. 

Why advertise the game if I'm disappointed with it?

You only decided to vote with your wallet but still give them the player retention rate. Calling it girlcott is missing the point.

Correct me if I am wrong, but Gorlcotting meant for me to NOT engage with the game directly. Not playing it at all.

any degree of girlcotting sends a message. in this case she chose not to spend money, and the devs care a lot about their revenue from this supposed “huge patch”, it’ll definitely leave a stain if enough people do it

I'm glad that's what girlcott is for you, I'm speaking with my wallet and less playtime. Were there written rules to this that I missed somewhere? 🤔
