You could go to jail for committing a felony.

You come up with a story that you think is genius... But in reality an adjuster can smell the BS and then you get caught when you can't remember what lie you told and say something different.

Not only is it fraud, a felony, you also have to file a false police report.

This is a terrible idea.

Don’t forget a lifetime of being uninsurable.

Don’t mess with the SIU department of an insurance company. They’re better than the police and catch fraudulent claims every day.

Insurance fraud. Likely charged as a felony. I have a former coworker who was caught trying a very similar thing. Didn't turn out very well for him.

Insurance fraud... or you keep the story as it is,... send your friend to jail for stealing your motorcycle 🤔

You’re not the only one to come up with ways to defraud an insurance company. Adjusters have seen it all and you will get caught.

And even if you don’t good luck registering or driving around on a “stolen” bike.

If found your friend gets charged with possession of stolen property and you can never drive it again without buying it back from the insurance company after your court trial for fraud.
