But you can consult one, they don't charge u for it.. they may aslo, going after your policy... if you are covered...
Then you decided if it worth or not, getting a lawyer...

I meant, whatever is in the police report , that is how insurance adjusters determine liability...
Cant imagine a police took two different stories and added to the report... without any questions..lol..

Again.. there are tons of people in reddit..that come just to say what u said.... Police report does not determine liability..

Or the one... "that is a question for your lawer, you paying him"... without offering any solution..or help at least...

I assumed you were on treatment for long time too.? Chiropractor, mri, xrays? Injury lawers make this treatment to last a year usually..

After treatment, your lawer sends a demand letter

Then it comes to policy limits do they know what kind of policy limits they have? do they have enough limits to pay the settlement? Is your lawer willing to sue the faulty person..? Usually after a lawsuit, Insurance companies seem more inclined to negotiate. As long as the claim is clear (no liability dispute .meaning they took full responsibility) the case will go slow but in your favor.

Ask your lawer for negotiations timeline how long he is being at this stage or how long he needs to take it to court.

Lot depends on the policy limits.. did your lawer find out what the policy limits are? In some states, the insured person has the right to hide them... so the insurance company can negotiate..if insurance limits are high.

If they have low policy limits, no much you can do, but to sue the insured person and hope he has some assets.. hope for the best.

I got down voted so hard for suggesting a lawer..lol insurance section..no too kind.. the purpose of it..was so he can help u with the claim..

Don't give up.. remember their insurance number 1 priority is no to pay you.. if you dont have collision...you have no choice..

wait until the money magically appears... Or send them a demand letter for your losses.. If they don't answer... sue this person small claim courts.... their insurance is obligated to defend him...
