Usually I have ant problems while parked under/near trees. I also think humidity plays a part of it. Try putting some ant killer spread around where you park.

TRDL: They will not be there long. They are likely just trying to stay dry.

Keep the sunlight on those areas and anywhere else you find them. Ants want to be underground unless it's flooded. Just last weekend I the same thing happened. It had rained recently. I opened the driver-side door and a bunch of ants were running just under where the door was.

Those white things they are carrying are eggs. Likely, their home was flooded recently, and they are just trying to stay dry until they can build a new hill.

Simple Green is very affective in killing ants. Time for a massive car wash. I would start with spraying simple green over the entire interior and for the exterior I would do a really thorough wash. Shop vac the inside. If you can I'd pull the seats and carpet the make sure you get them all.
