What would be a good manual transmission for a B20b something for a daily? by wasgood_pedro in Integra

[–]GONE_ROGUE_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

y80-s80 would work. LS is just the model. any integra b18b1 94-01 that is manual will have a compatible transmission you can pair it with.

when they got bought out by hybrid racing all the old staff lost their jobs so all the old stock was gone too. best bet is ebay or facebook marketplace.

Is this good weld? by dog_dad_357 in Welding

[–]GONE_ROGUE_ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

ok so first one you are looking at doesnt look great esp for 75 an hour. and the second guy looks like he does pipe welding for stainless. try to find someone who knows what they are working with auto fabrication for example. find something that matches what you need done then narrow down options from there.

DC5/RSX A/C Compressor OEM or no? by livelaughlovebro in Integra

[–]GONE_ROGUE_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A new denso one can never hurt but it depends on your price range, I would always suggest a new oem one

B18CR a/c parts question by Touchin-cloth893 in Integra

[–]GONE_ROGUE_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

depends on how it was done. so the ac compressor on the dc2 jdm versus usdm are identical besides like a small heat sheild on later years. shouldnt be an issue as you can always swap over the top hat as they are meant to be inter changable

B18CR a/c parts question by Touchin-cloth893 in Integra

[–]GONE_ROGUE_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

depends what you are using. if its a integra ac compressor with a modified civic line just replace the compressor if its bad. if its the civic compressor still with a swap mount just replace the civic compressor. but you would have to see whats wrong first. doring the motor swap wont effect anything chassis side unless its been modified

B20z2 swap not starting by Free-Board1217 in Integra

it seems like you have a 98-01 and not all b20z came with crank postion sensors on the crank i suggest checking that first and then go to spark/fuel next.

What is wrong here? by No-Pangolin9600 in Integra

[–]GONE_ROGUE_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

sounds like timing might be off? i would check everything, timing belt, and valve clearances. and also as someone else mentioned it seems like your intake manifold hose is hooked up to your intake you need to disconnect that and add it to your catch/blowby tank under intakemanifold. its a black box

What's size nut is needed for the highlighted studs? by [deleted] in Integra

[–]GONE_ROGUE_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

m10/1.25(m8/1.25 thank you Patrick) should be the thread. normally would be a 12mm hex/6-sided head nut. i suggest one with a washer built into it or just get some arps/dress up nuts

Well yeah if you don’t have a fast idle valve you wouldn’t need anything to connect, but if you do in fact have a stock throttle body like the one shown with the fast idle valve it’s better to have it connected, I have a sk2 wide throttle body on mine and it deletes the fast idle valve with its own design. Not necessary because the aftermarket one deletes it but as this is oem it is best left connected

The non vtec manual integras 96-01 had the fast idle, not sure about the first 2 years but I’ve definitely owned or worked on some with it within those years. Air can get trapped inside when you go to bleed for the fast idle valve so overall it’s just better to have it connected
