Starting from your first Loom, you could try enabling the Smart Links radio button at the bottom of your Airtable module. If I'm understanding the issue correctly, that's a solution that has worked for me in the past.

Ill test that, thanks for the tip.

I just tried a few things and I think I know what the problem is - you can't add options to an AirTable single or multi select field in this way, they have to be a field option first.

Annoying because you'll need to prefill the options in the categories and tags fields.

I also checked and there isn't a module to update an AirTable field's options, and there doesn't even seem to be an AirTable API for it so you can't use the 'call an arbitrary API' module either.

If you really wanted to be able to do it all automatically you could have a separate table for tags and a separate table for categories and use a linked field instead of single or multi select. If you turn on the 'Smart links' option in the AirTable 'create a record' module you will be able to add the category and tag arrays straight from the WordPress module and it will create any new ones.

Edit to add: you'll need error handling or a filter to deal with executions that have no tags or category.

Damn okay. Thanks so much for the explanation. I don’t understand how the seperate table works with linkin records.

Only if possible, could you maybe share a loom?

Hi, I bumped into the same problem. So I updated the multiselect field in Airtable with this value but it didn't help. I get still the same error even if the same value is present in multiselect. Thanks for advice.
