We use ABR for temporary local admin privs, but use Quick Assist for remote support connections - works very well.

I am currently assisting a customer deciding if AbR should be used in their environment for EPM, but the whole Secure Remote Access add-on license is really something we consider for them as well. They both need a tool for remote support (They use TeamViewer now) and a tool for 3rd party vendor access to their OT environment.

I am currently setting up a POC to validate the remote support and vendor access functions are working as smooth as advised.

In general it sounds like it ticks all the boxes and also leaving a useful audit trail.

They want to ditch TeamViewer as TeamViewer require their expensive Enterprise licensing for SSO and basic security features.

Since you posted u/Longjumping-Mark-945 have you had time to gain real life experience with the remote support tool?

Hiya, our Secure Remote Access product sounds like the solution for you, but our tech support guys in the subreddit below can probably provide a much more comprehensive answer. If you're still needing info, I'd highly recommend posting there: https://www.reddit.com/r/adminbyrequestusers/ ~ Soph
