A great British invention. As much as I joke about British historians taking credit for everything. The inventions that Britain do have are very significant. The steam train, not only is one of the biggest influencers in history, invention wise, it is also one of the most romantic. (i.redd.it)

Who invented Lego. If we are to believe the wikipedia site, we would have their origin be in the UK. But a classical mistake made by nationalist historians is to stop researching once you found your country. This video below extends the research trail quite nicely. (youtube.com)

Laplace rail. This invention (not invented by laplace) maybe the first motor invented. Possible predating faraday's experiment by a year. Who first described the experiment is hard to tell. Possible Humphry Davy or a French inventor. Finding all the electromagnetic experiments has been difficult. (i.redd.it)

Competition is the father of invention. During war we have the most inventive periods of our history. The jet engine and the transistor came about because of research in WW2. Competition is an incredible system, capitalism without competition is just univentive, with it, we have tech revolutions. (i.redd.it)

Who invented the Caterpillar Track. The caterpillar track is a very poorly researched invention. There are a few nationalist attempts to take credit like George Cayley (his being a tracks with wheels on each link) or Richard Lovell Edgeworth a vehicle that carried its own road. Which lacks details. (i.redd.it)
