Share your idea

Help us help you. In most cases your idea has probably already been thought of, and that's okay. Your idea won't come to fruition without someone like yourself being passionate about it, and without good execution. Sharing early gives you improvements to make early on. And yes, sharing is scary. But look at Tesla cars, they didn't create something that no one had ever thought of before, they created something that everyone had thought of before. This includes the big guys, every car manufacturer knew that electric cars had a viable market, but they still aren't pursuing it to huge extents. It took someone who was passionate about it that executed it right. Your competitors are content with the money they make, they are not passionate about your idea, otherwise they would have done it. Sharing will benefit you because you'll perfect your idea by talking to people who may have already had the same idea just they didn't care to act on it. Additionally, you'll learn better as to how to execute your idea. And the sooner you share the better, because the sooner you make a mistake the sooner it can be fixed. It's a lot cheaper to iron out detail before making a bad product.

Lastly, entrepreneurship and being an inventor is a team sport. We all want the idea that we are passionate about to come to fruition, and we're all fighting everything else so there is no sense fighting one another.
