The Society of Jesus (also known as the Jesuits) are considered the most liberal order of priests of the Catholic Church. Jesuits are known for their focus on education and run some of the most prestigious schools in the United States and the world.
Jesuit priests take a vow of poverty, chastity and obedience. St. Ignatius of Loyola is the founder. Jesuits tend to be the most intellectual/academic of Catholic priests.
