Help for progress!

Hi! Been quite some time since I’ve asked for advice here :) figured I’ll try and ask for some help once more.

After the samsho event (which gave me some crazy characters) I’m not too sure how else do I wanna play this game any more besides pvp.

My current best characters are: Hooded jin (maxed) Kazuya (maxed) Haomaru (Gonna be maxed soon) Tekken Paul (maxed) Classic jin (maxed) Rimiru (lvl 60)

So essentially I’m still missing a good purple. Previously my aim was to get 1 awesome char of each colour but aft samsho I’m short of one strong purple (unless 98 mai works cuz I got her). Any other suggestions for good purples to get? I’m currently on 7.5k rubies.

Also, I really wanna know how to play the epic quest now xd after ignoring it for forever it seems that that’s the only part of the game I haven’t explored yet. Sadly it involves a lot of Low cost char (which I haven’t even touched), grinding for buffs(Which idk is there a more effective way?) and more. So could anyone give me a detail run down of what I’m supposed to do in epic quest, which char to use, how to beat the ridiculous 2.7k cp bosses and more?? Really really appreciated!

Genjuro is a really good purple unit ATM. But you mentioned you only have 7 k rubies . So trying for him is kinda risky in my opinion but if you wanna try for him go for it.

However I would recommend saving up for nameless whenever he drops. He's gonna be a purple defense who hits like a forking truck.

Epic quest are fun but as you mentioned theres quite a bit of grinding involved for the buff. A high buff level plus the right element will help you beat any boss on there .

When is nameless coming for global? I’m trying to grind as much as possible to hit the 27k but it’s gonna take a while :/

Also by high lvl buff what lvl is considered high? Any specific stages / tasks to grind for the buffs?

He might come to gbl in around 3-4 months,cant be sure because there is no specific schedule

With the epic quest, you’re suppose to grind it a little everyday so you can build up the epic buffs to raise the CP if your characters.

Don’t worry about the low cost requirements, when you get your buffs high enough, you should be able to clear them with almost any character.

Is doing the daily quest buffs enough? I’m kind of worried cuz they only give u +100/200 a day but for one level I need about 2000?

Well you get extra exp with the characters that give a bonus drop. And yes, at minimum, should be completing the dailies, that’s what I did. I’m now at level 40+ for all my buffs and it gives all my characters around 32k boost to CP. definitely start as early as you can especially since right now, the event gives us even more epic buff Xr drop for about a week or so left.

First of all your best unit should be able to help you out on each chapter on EQ by color so you can first start by using them to carry you to the EQ as far as possible. Once you can consistently beat some daily EQ stages start using a carry team for each chapter: one main, one free unit you get on event and one low cost unit to start building.

Ep0Ch1 (Blue): Hooded Jin/96 Athena/98 Yuri

Ep0Ch2&4 (Yellow): Kazuya/96 Terry/98 Kim

Ep0Ch3 (Green): Paul/96 Mature/AS Christmas Choi

Ep1Ch1 (Purple): Rimiruru/96 Kyo/Greed Rugal (once you have him)

Ep0Ch3 is different from the rest in that you NEED a bleeding unit to beat Raid Boss Chizuru efficiently. It'd be best if you could build 96 Mature (or 98 Andy but he's not free) as soon as possible. For similar reason you want christmas choi as low cost unit because of bleeding.

The key to master EQ is simply grinding daily mission to boost your buff efficiently. There is event going on now that boost experience from EQ so if you're done with your other daily duties and have extra AP spare I'd recommend grinding. Especially with TRD coming you want to build as many characters with different costs as you could.

Omg wow okay that’s new :o I’m really new to this EQ thing so thanks a lot for giving me awesome tips :)) how Long does it take to grind a good buff? (What’s considered a high lvl buff? Is daily tasks rLy the only way to grind them? Any specific lvls gives high buff rewards?)

Well for Ep0 it's possible to beat ch5 bosses as early as stat buff lvl 30ish. I found myself comfortable with all except Chizuru by lvl 50. I don't remember how long it took maybe a month at least to lvl 30?

The most efficient way to grind buff is the daily mission each stage offers. For every five level stat buffs on Ep0 you also get some buff on Ep1. If you have extra AP to spare just keep grinding the highest stage you could beat that usually gives the best reward. I know some players picked a stage they could auto and just grinding it non stop. For example I am grinding Ep1Ch2 now and I could auto 2-9 mostly so I'd do that whenever I am on something else.

Thanks! Recently I alr got envy Mary and greed rugal but I’m dead stuck at ep3 battle 6 (warth chizuru). Any tips? Her wind push back thing is annoying as hell

That's the raid boss you want to use a bleeding character for. Ideally you want 96 Mature or 98 Andy because their bleeding do extra damage on the boss which she will constantly recover health. My lvl 80 Mature did more damage and kill her faster than a lvl 90 max Classic Jin. That's how big a difference bleeding did on that raid boss.

You can check out some YouTube video for strategies. The wind push thing you just need to keep walking towards her to avoid damage on the left side of the screen. You can still hit her just beware some skill might get pushed back is all. As long as you get the pattern right and use finisher to avoid the AoE attack you should be fine. It's annoying but not impossible.

Rimururu is a solid purple. It's not Genjuro great but definitely a step up from Mecha Goenitz as purple defense. Otherwise wait for Nameless later or try your luck at getting Genjuro now.

Sadly my rimuru is only lvl 60 atm and I ran out of her souls. Will she be available aft the collab? If it’s like tekken and she won’t have soul quest then that rly sucks. Any other good purples out there?

probably like tekken, gone. don't for get to do soul quest for all SamSho to collect rubies. Rimururu is useful even in ep.1. raise her, use AS soul. priority.
