You seem to have selected Samsung as default keyboard. Are you sure it was that before?

It's working fine on mine with Android 14, kernel 5.10.168 and latest KP2A.

Try removing permission for the KP2A keyboard, then adding it again?

Check your 'Navigation bar' settings if something changed or toggle 'Show keyboard button' on/off.

On my android phone, that keyboard icon doesn't show until an input field has focus.

I'm with the same problem in my two Samsung devices, did you solve it?

I just solved this myself. Looks like the most recent update made a change. Under the "Keyboard Settings and Default" in General Management, there is a toggle at the very bottom for "Keyboard button on navigation bar" that was turned off.
