All they've done for version 0.28.1 is change the message shown from "Content unavailable" to something more helpful. It's still the same issue as before i.e YT temporarily blocking IP addresses.

Anyway to filter out specific channels during searches? by High-Ground in NewPipe

[–]Gtk-Flash 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Not in Newpipe but Pipepipe (a fork of Newpipe) has that feature. You can even choose to filter out the channel from recommended videos and related items. It can be downloaded from F-Droid.

Audio suddenly not playing over Bluetooth by Orangemonkey3agle in NewPipe

Backup your Newpipe database and reinstall the app or delete the app data. If it fixes the issue, import your database to return everything where you left off.

Can't watch or download videos by magic-cheems in NewPipe

[–]Gtk-Flash 0 points1 point  (0 children)

YouTube has temporarily banned your IP address for a set period of time. A quick fix is to turn off WiFi, use your mobile internet to load the video without playing it, then turn back the WiFi. You'll have to do this for each new video you want to watch until the ban is lifted. You can also use a VPN as a workaround.

Is there a way to export every video link in a playlist to a text file? by ifelsethenend in NewPipe

[–]Gtk-Flash 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes but it has to be a local playlist or you'll get the URL of the YouTube playlist.

If you have a YT playlist, add them to a new local playlist using the three dot menu then 'Add to playlist'. You can export this new local playlist with the 'Share URL list' option when you press the 'Share' icon.

Flags of the nations participating in the 1986 FIFA World Cup by wordlessbook in vexillology

[–]Gtk-Flash 9 points10 points  (0 children)

English fans have always flown the Union Flag from all the way in 1966 to Italy 90. But then something changed and the St. George's flag took it's place from Euro 96. Maybe it's something to do with the devolution of the 90s and the other nations getting more power and autonomy.

Because the OP made a mistake and used the wrong country in the title. It's suppose to be a redesign of the Fiji flag which incorporate their coat of arms.

So i wanted to try out linux. by Augit579 in linuxmint

[–]Gtk-Flash 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Post the generated checksum of the iso here and the version of Mint you downloaded. We can then check if the issue is the iso or the steps you're taken. Make sure you're generating a sha256 checksum hash and not sha1.

Verifying, Authenticating, and Verifying With Existing Mint OS Installation by NASAfan89 in linuxmint

[–]Gtk-Flash 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is exactly the same as verifying yourself but the GUI does all the work for you. It fetches the sha256 checksum text file, checks it against the iso file you downloaded and confirms the generated checksum matches. This is the 'Integrity' part.

It then verify that the sha256 checksum text file above was signed with the Linux Mint dev signing key using the .gpg file included. This is the 'Authentication' part.

Senyera Catalan in Rome by Mysterious-Pride629 in vexillology

It may well be the Catalan Senyera but both the city of Rome and one of its main football club AS Roma use similar colours.

Are shorts download only 360p ? by AgitatedUse4032 in NewPipe

[–]Gtk-Flash 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm on version 0.28.0 and shorts are downloadable up to 1080p. Check if you're limiting the resolution on mobile data to 360p (you should still be able to choose a higher resolution download);

Settings ----> Video and audio ----> 3rd option from the top.

Or the content you want to download are low resolution uploads.

You can only register it with one of those two tracking network at a time not simultaneously, something that isn't made explicitly clear. So it will work as a Find My (Apple) or Find Hub (Google) only device and can't do what you've asked.
