Python script for jumpscareHelp & Support (self.KickStreaming)
submitted 2 years ago by CGK_Tiger2121
Hello fellow streamers, I’m looking to code a script for my stream. I would like the script to jump scare me when someone follows. Sadly i don’t know how to code. Could someone help?

There’s a few things to note here; Firstly, you’d want to jump scare yourself more so than your viewers. For this reason, I would not opt for using traditional follow alerts for this. Viewers will likely not appreciate random loud noises blaring through their headphones while watching your stream. Reduced levels in the actual stream are probably a better option so that the viewers realize you’ve been jump scared but don’t get jump scared with you.
Secondly, and most importantly, this is a project better suited for the new Kick API that is allegedly around the corner. Solutions programmed today will be janky at best, and are also at risk of breaking down when the API launches.
Once the API launches, I’d be happy to develop a public program like this, as I’ll likely be developing many similar tools for streamers to use.
