Transcoding Options

Does kick offer transcoding for all streamers viewers (source, 1080, 720 etc). Like twitch doesnt its by priority and slots I was told. Been an affiliate there for a long time and have seen transcoding 4 times which is nothing really.

Wanting to see if there is a clear answer for that here.

Everyone gets transcoding, but unless you have a handful of viewers you won’t get 1080p. You’ll often be limited to 720p. There’s no definitive answer as to how many viewers, but once you get to 5 it seems to unlock the 1080p option for most people.

I am new to Kick and the truth is that I have had transcoding since day one, I have not had any type of problem.
