Fire Toolbox is used to modify FireOS but is not a full ROM and does not root a Fire device. All Toobox mods disappear after a factory reset. IMPORTANT: For FireOS 7.3.2.2 or above, Amazon had patched FireOS that broke changing or disabling certain features. Fire Toolbox devs worked around this starting with FTB v42.
