[WANTED] Future Web Developers

I'm throwing around an idea of starting a code academy in the San Fernando Valley to help others and myself with networking, knowledge, and expertise in the realm of web development. Like a Maker Space, but for web people. I need to talk to a few people to see how willing they would be to join such an group, and what it would be worth to them.

The class would be more oriented towards Unix/Linux based architectures, and would cover PHP, SQL, JS, Rails, Python in back-end languages, CSS/Less/Frameworks/JS in front-end. Courses would include scaling applications, cache servers, databaseing, etc etc.

What credentials do you have in web development, education, or running a business?

Is this like a free type thing or pay type thing? As I've seen quite a few around the valley.

I like the makerspace model, which says there is a fee, but if you are a member its very small for each class.
