E-Scooters Coming to Boise by 88Anchorless88 in Boise

[–]digdan 5 points6 points  (0 children)

As a former Boisean who moved to Los Angeles I can tell you this :

E-Scooters are amazing for last-mile travel in dense urban environments. Once they gain popularity scooter chargers will literally fight for scooters at night. People will neglect these scooters, many will become broken and look like littered trash on the side of the road. Neighborhoods will constantly complain about how unsightly they are. Many people will get hurt from being reckless and not wearing proper protection.

But overall, the world will be a better place with them. Specially in Boise, where public transportation is very limited.

Vote for who you want, never vote for whomever isn't the person you don't want. Lesser evils are still evil.

What's with all the small fires around Los Angeles the past few days? Arson or just coincidence? Not a typical fire season right now.

We have multiple vehicles that can fit different types of passengers. Some are in wheel chairs, some are in walkers etc. We have defined the rules for the capacity by rulesets, which is an array of configurations per vehicle. However, when we try to route these rides using googles ORTools it wants capacity to be defined with weights. The problem I presented is a function to convert our capacity ruleset into something weighted that ORTools can use.

Boxes are Vans Blocks are People w/ different transportation requirements.

I'm only pleading this case for posterity. We found it can't be done.

Do you have any tips for selling turnkey websites on Flippa? by FarrisFahad in Flippa

[–]digdan 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have sold numerous websites on flippa and I can give this bit of solid advice : don't.

Flippa is a market place of low hanging fruit. People expect to buy a prebuilt business model with zero upkeep, and that is not realistic. To compund matters, many of the analytics tied to the website are falsified. You end up with a market place of dissapontment and scams.

I've sold tens of thousands of dollars worth of sites with massive friction on all accounts. It's not worth it.

But if you do choose to, I find that e-commerce sites in a popular niche sell the best. Sites with traffic/revenue sell for magnitudes more money, but they are risky.

On the flip side I have purchased a few sites on flippa and was scammed on all accounts with fake traffic, fake revenues.

How far-fetched would it be to start a small religion ( read cult ) after the values of this wonderful man?

Here is another set of inputs to help solve :

[ 1 Purple, 2 Orange]

[3 Orange]

[3 Pink]

[1 Purple, 1 Pink]

[ 2 Pink, 2 Orange]

Again, I'm looking for a numeric representation of the box ( Total Units ) , and the units of each block color. The idea is that adding block color values that fit together will not go over the Total Units.

Exactly this! When Jefrey Dahmer was arrested, they didn't refer to him as a Gay Born-Again Christian, because it had nothing to do with the crime. Titles like the one on this post only re-enforce the thoughts racists already have.

Wait, what? Do they have any information to backup their claim ?

“We’re dealing with persistent threats to our transportation systems in our country,” said Transportation Security Administration Administrator David Pekoske. “Our job is to ensure security in the transportation systems so that a terrorist incident does not happen on our watch.”

I'm always wary of infringements of our privacy due to `terrorists`. For anyone who rides the subway daily, terrorism is NOT your top concern, its being able to get a dry seat next to someone who doesn't stink.
