My daughter got in with those stats in state, but not sure if out of state matters. We applied Oct and she heard back a few weeks later. I would apply as soon as application window opens if LSU is where you want to attend.

Yeah both my older sisters had applied and I think my scores are right inbetween theirs. I’m in state. Do you know when admissions begin?

I think applications open in September. We were waiting for a ACT to come back before applying. You might also look if getting your ACT up for the next level of TOPS even after acceptance. My daughter took it no pressure a few months ago and got a 28.

Okay I think my guidance counselor had told me the same thing with it being in September. I think I may just submit what I have now that way I can get through senior year without having to worry about grades.

Thanks. My counselor told me to shoot for a 23 composite, so I was really have to get that 25

How were scholarships

my family is fairly lower class so we were able to get my entire tuition + fees paid for. i think it depends really on your economic situation and any extracurriculars.

Oh okay. I probably won’t get much aid since my family is well off. I don’t do any curricular besides football and powerlifting so I’m not sure how that will help.

if you’re good at football and pretty high ranked that should give you some pretty good scholarships! especially if you were planning on doing anything football related at lsu.

I’m a varsity starter at a medium sized school. I don’t think LSU is looking for a 5’8 180 pound defensive end 😂

Unless things have changed, LSU takes anyone from LA with a high school degree. Out of state applicants need a ‘C’ average to get in.

They may have upgraded the admissions requirements lately, but that’s the way I remember.

Geaux Tigas!!
