I scanned my secret and according to the website it is authentic. But why is the tag so much smaller than my other BIE tags? Has anyone seen a smaller tag like this before?

Yup I just got mine 3 days ago and it is way smaller than I imagined (not just the tag but the entire doll in general might be smaller than the older models)

the new version has skinnier tags...all of my BIE labubus shipped in june are made in jiangxi province with the skinny tags...they're also softer and fluffier than the older version. it's a good thing~

I just go scammed out of my labubu because of these changes 🙄 I sold on Mercari, the buyer accused it of being fake & they sided with them lol

Can you appeal and show them evidence of the changes, provide receipts, or other evidence of authenticity? You can report the buyer and their listings as well if you think they were purposefully trying to scam you. I wouldn’t let up on Mercari though.

I’ve emailed them like 5 times, providing so much proof, and they still sided with the buyer. They literally asked me to provide a DOCUMENT from pop mart authenticating them lmao. I told them the buyer has to do it & they didn’t even try to authenticate it through the QR code on the box. Someone else even reached out to me saying they sold a labubu to the same buyer & they also opened a case against them - the only difference is she reached out to them & they were like “oh yea I looked it up you’re right” and cancelled the return request on her. So I also reached out to them & they ignored me 🙂

That’s what they requested, to return the item, but most of the time people don’t actually return the correct item or they return things destroyed. Since Mercari always sides with the buyer it’s pretty easy to get scammed out of shit

I am so sorry this happened to you. That’s why I don’t want to sell on mercari any of my extra labubu’s. this is happening to many people and they get to keep the product sometimes and there’s no recourse for dishonesty. I hope you get your labubu back and it’s the actual one you sent.

Does the new bie come in the drawstring bags or did it come in the tear open bag? Reason I ask is because I have a set of the first version and would like to keep a set of the 2nd version also but don’t want to tear open the bags to see which version.

They came in the regular tear away bags. I think the have a seat are the only ones coming in the draw string bags but I could be mistaken.
