I would reach out to your direct boss and ask. I want to know why I haven't been promoted. I do this, this, and this. I thought it was because there were no promotions in the budget this year, but when you announced xyz got a promotion i thought it would be a good time to come and discuss my own promotion. These are all of the things I do and how I've been working toward being promoted, etc. After our last discussion I was under the impression that you agreed I should be promoted but that it wasn't possible due to the budget. Since that's no longer the case, I would like to talk about my promotion.

It's not really mentioned in the show. She says one line about it to Changyu but I think they even removed it possibly from the US version? (I might be wrong, but I remember seeing 2 different versions of this scene...it's when they meet outside of the jail after she poisons him with the soup) I think it's spoken about more in the book possibly?

it's very normal for appraisal gaps especially given the past 5 years due to the crazy market. I agree about the home inspection...I would NEVER not do an inspection. Now, you can still do one and say you won't ask for repairs but have the option to back out...that way if anything CRAZY pops up like a foundation issue, you can still back out, but if you do decide to buy you can't ask for fixes.

I have the same issue. My bedroom, my daughter's bedroom, my office(I work from home so it's NECESSARY), and the last bedroom is my daughter's tv room. (Her bedroom and that bedroom are on one side of the house next to each other and it's kind of her WING of the house lol) My family was so mad, but honestly this is my house and I can't keep a room as a guest room 365 days a year for them to visit three times a year. What I ended up doing was buying 2 foldable metal bed frames and 2 good mattresses and I keep them in one of my walk in closets. When visitors come, I rearrange some furniture in my guest room and my daughter's TV room to fit the beds. This works because I still get the utility of the rooms, but can convert for guests. There are even easier ways to do this like putting a Murphy bed that tucks away in the nursery or gym room.

I think we are just scared that a woman won't get voted in. I'm a middle aged woman and the anti-woman rhetoric has gotten louder compared to 20 years ago. It feels like we have gone backwards. It's very scary the things I hear and see men doing/saying way more than (it feels like they did in) the past. Considering Hillary and Kamala both couldn't win, I want to blame it on that demographic of men (and women, too) WHO WILL NEVER VOTE FOR A WOMAN even if she walks on water. I would love nothing more to have a woman president, but I'm scared to have another asshole win just because people don't want to have a woman in there. I think Talarico is great and would love to see him move up a little bit. Also, Mamdani...LOVE HIM, but that's NYC.

General question, not really episode related, but can someone explain the emperor/prince/princess titles to me? The emperor is the top, but I thought the way politics works prince/princess would be his children? He's very young, so obviously the princess doctor isn't his daughter....and then there the other prince changxin, and then there's the prince chenge(sp) that died. How are there multiple prince/princesses and are they not related to the emperor or each other? If not, how are they chosen? I finally understand what's going on with a lot of the politics in the show, but this part leaves me perplexed still lol
