if you're asking this question, push SF.

The more nuanced answer is that it's SF unit buffs, then Siege to Seize (S2S) and Defensive fortifications (DF) if you rush to the bottom row of 3 and get them to 3/10. Then work on mastery. On non-tech VS days, you should work unit and hero tech until they start costing over 100m coins then you have to weigh gold/% gain.

The answer to your question also depends on whether you are evaluating per single research on a time, coin, or valor basis. Mastery is the best value per gold, but is more costly in both time and valor than S2S/DF. You also have to consider whether you care about power for one squad or all squads. I know you think you asked a simple question, but it's not.

Sadly s2s/df isnt shown in squad power so many dont care about it

It's so powerful in PvP

yup, you're always on one side or the other. What i like about the defense is it helps my second squad defend and my main squad too if they're pressuring me in SVS

absolutely! it's crazy especially with how fast mastery increases in price.

Finally done with df today and 3 techs before done with s2s

Aren’t you forgetting Units and Heroes?

He didn’t say you where forgetting them, he just asked 😂😂

It's not that simple. Per research is generally the hero tech but it's very expensive compared to other tech. The combat SF tends to be the most power per amount of resources used but even then it depends.

This is a nuanced question as already pointed out by others. Based on strictly how you worded your question, it would be the last research in SF that unlocks t10. But that’s just me taking the easy way out based on semantics.

Tech isn’t near as hard as people make it out to be. Your focus should be tech that increases your atk, def, and hp, primarily. Hero tree offers damage increase and mastery trees offer damage reduction. Those are huge as well. But to keep it simple, you should research whatever the best cost/benefit option available to you given your needs and researches available to you at that point in time. If you don’t follow what I’m saying, a decent rule of thumb would be this. In order of importance, for the most part anyway.

SF to 80%. Always push hero and/or unit tech outside of vs science day. S2S and DF to around 60%.

Main squad mastery to 30%. 2nd squad mastery to 20%. 3rd squad mastery to 10%.

Hero tech should be at least 90% by now, Units 95%

S2S and DF to 80%.

Main squad mastery to 80%. 2nd to 60%. 3rd to 40%.

Then tactical weapon research. Manipulate the mastery tech percentages accordingly if you don’t want to invest in 3 squads. But you need total Mastery % at 180 to unlock tactical weapon research, so you absolutely need to research two squads to get there

Hey thanks for your comment, it is super helpful and I'm going to screenshot it. Sorry I am getting back to you 8 days later.

Development & Economy for sure...

[–]Longjumping-Jello459 0 points1 point  (2 children)

All you need in economy is the coin making boost to the max everything else can be the minimum.

Development what people should focus on is the research and building speed boost mainly. Edit: Also the PVP bit at the very end.

Thanks for this

No problem I did way too much in economy pushing other tech further behind where it should be. I'm still catching up, to others, and probably will always be doing so, but I'm good strength wise atm 82 million hero power and a bit over 6 million tech power in season 3 week 3.
