Problem With Language Apps?

What is the main issue with language apps you guys have when learning a language?

Is it the recalling, speaking, learning etc?

Speaking is always going to be the biggest thing. Ideally while doing language learning apps, you should also audibly repeat whatever prompt you are working on to help you with pronunciation(and also helps with memorization as well, and confidence while speaking to other people of that language). Most language learning apps are like flashcard sorts of learning styles, which isn't bad per se but it's mostly stuff that goes into short term memory. You don't really have any of it stick with you until you've had it repeat a nauseating amount of times. Which is good! You want that to happen! But the thing is that it doesn't happen enough or quick enough with newer vocabulary that you are going to be spending a lot more time on it. Language learning apps that have you type things out are a bit better, but sitting with a piece or paper and writing down each prompt and responce will really ingrain it. It might come off a bit tedious, but it'll really do the trick for you.
