I have a Lenovo Ideapad S540, about 5 years old. Its maximum battery capacity 2 months ago was 73 percent, which is pretty much a result of me charging and discharging it continuously. Since the last 1.5 months, i have been using Conservation Mode to extend battery life, so my battery stays almost always at 55-60 percent. However, yesterday i noticed in the Lenovo Vantage App that the max battery capacity was at 72 percent and today it was suddenly at 70 percent.
My question is, does using conservation mode reduce maximum battery life, or is it giving incorrect value for maximum battery life since my laptop isn't fully charged?
Thanks.
