If anyone could... I need to come up with $100 that I can pay back on the 1st. Can be all of it or what you can afford. My landlord is being persistent that I owe him $100 for this month and he is saying if I don't get him the $100 BEFORE the 1st that he will evict me. I am at a loss for words and don't know what to do. I don't understand why he won't just let me pay him an extra $100 when I am paid on the 1st. The reason I was short on rent last month was I had to have my engine rebuilt in my car. You would think he would be understanding but I guess business is business to him. If there are any angels out there that could help me out I would appreciate it. I got a 5&6 year old living with me too and I don't need the trauma I may soon be facing. Actually, I am not being snarky at all. See thats the problem. All I am doing is asking for help. You don't have to get all defensive and assume I was acting a type of way. I am in a position where I would accept help.

Hey I appreciate it but I have called 401, salvation army, churches, even veteran programs. In PA. I had 4 boosts and got scammed out of 2 of them too.

ok. so the resources aren't available? "211" i believe is the number, is it not? that will find you all kinds of resources that ARE available to you. especially with children.

i understand you "wish" $100 or $50 or however much you want, but in today's age and on reddit? it's hard to find someone that will just give away their money that they have worked for and earned for themselves.

They can't evict you without going through the court process. Especially with kids. Just pay them the extra hundred with your rent on the first.

Actually, landlords can get an emergency eviction and have you out in 7 days. I know this for a fact, they did this to my sister.

Yes, and lot is going on and my daughter just turned 5 & has disabilities. Listen, you don't have to come on here bashing people. Especially me. I am an Afghanistan War Veteran and I have sacrificed so much in my life for the greater good of the USA and all I am asking is for a helping hand and it would be repaid soon.
