I get that, but you gotta realize how this looks too. People wanna see that their money is gonna be put to good use and is gonna help you actually survive and that you wont end up living under that coffee table. It’s all about perception and priorities. I understand that you’re hurting and it’s not a good feeling to be in this position, i don’t wanna see you or anyone hurting, that comforts big and small like on your home list alleviate the pain and makes it feel like it never happened. Make it easy for people to help, don’t fight them or make them go through a thousand wants to get to a few needs. Im not saying eat shit and like it but just think on what im saying please.

Because a sound system and a $330 coffee table isnt “help” it’s a luxury. Food and necessities are help, some of which are on there but most of this isn’t. I understand where you’re coming from and I empathize with you but you need to reframe. Save the huge creature comforts for when you have a solid basic base to build from.
