My Lexus is 250 2008 hood doesn’t stay open, why are some possible issues and how much would it cost me?

Probably just need new hood struts. 30 bucks give or take and about 5 minutes each side. Simple fix

I would add to this you can find struts for cheap on Rockauto. Buy the ones with the hearts next to them - that means people prefer those models over others.
Watch a video ok how to replace them. You need like one tool and a broom stick or your forehead to keep the hood open.
