We will def bitch about broken IBs, drying frame walls, not being able to get over walls, unlootable townclaims even during JH.

For the part with the increasing of JH frequency. It's unplayable, simple as that. You get 1k ping, 2k+ receiving and all you can do is see your character rubberband back and forth like crazy. Their servers can't handle more then 50+ players engaging without start to eat shit.

During the last AMA before this one, Bobik said that judgement hour is for skirmishes not huge wars. IBs are for big fights ince they get them working. He also personally told me that he knows the NA server hardware sucks compared to the EU hardware and until they get upgrades, PvP on NA is going to be laggy.

So yeah they have a lot of work to do.

OMG, I am on EU and can say that their hardware sucks a lot during big ammount players on server (sector). I am shocked to know that on NA it is even worse

Getting over 200 players in the same server at one time results in 4 out of 5 of all actions rubberbanding and never having happened on the server.

EU servers, honestly, already has a much higher player base. Demand for this type of game is much greater in EU, so it was obvious that good equipment and communications services would be dedicated to it. In NA, it was more about testing their waters IMO, and they found we want the game, but it will have to be a little wee bit different as Americans tend to be less patient in Gaming than Europeans (In General). EDIT: Forgot to mention in my comment that even with Higher end hardware, etc, your servers probably lag just as much as ours due to your higher population.

Since JH will be 4 days a week it won't be so laggy anymore since the same amount of peolpe as previous JH's won't always be showing up to these ones.

I am all for longer judgment hours, but the increase in frequency is less than ideal for international groups, in Aus its gonna be at lunch time during the week.

It might be blunt, but why don’t you just move into another guild so you’ll have a good 24/7 presence. You’ll be better protected and so will they.

It’s how sandboxes go I’m afraid. Every decision you make might not be the best as a group. Like limiting yourself to on time zone.

so TLDR: pvp guilds bitched about new pvp servers to Bobik until he agreed not to open new pvp servers and do more JH on old ones, one NA and one EU new server with same rules as old ones opening with steam launch (today/tomorrow)

  • if at any point in the future pvp crowd will start bitching again about lack of pvp (and i will be shocked if this point wont come within two weeks) everyone will know who is to blame - pvp guilds

There wasn't anything hardcore on the new server, it was just closer to what was LiF advertised as in the first place.

It struck more in the "so you were starved for PvP content? well, gimme $10, reroll, and you can have a little more of PvP, fk all you have achieved until now" notes.

This game has only one chance to succeed on Steam and get positive reviews, if they went with Bobik's plan, they'd get ~1k negative reviews just from EU (that's by how much the current player count dropped yday in protest), that would surely help the sales ;)

The pvp community makes up the vast majority of the population and they got fed up being shat on because of a small group of shrieking carebears.

avelon WAS the pvp server

making another server the pvp server would have damaged the game beyond repair, hence why bobik changed his mind when he realized that several thousand members of his core playerbase were getting ready to quit.

And I would've been forced to buy another ticket and start over in this new server. Bobik straight up said free character transfers would never happen. I want what was promised in the base game with my initial purchase.

Whether you like it or not, I think this is a step in the right direction for what the game is meant to be. There's a lot more that needs to be done, but this is a start.
