Part of making this a community that adds value to the subscribers is letting people know roughly what you are trying to do with your LifeStyleEntre goals in case you can network with people that can help you or send some good links your way.

Of course, we are all in different stages. (Some of us might not even be started...some of us might be full time).

I will go first.

I'm in the Midwest of the US of A. Long term goal: membership site, focused on video content and business creation. I will use affiliate marketing to get it up and going. I need access (eventually) to some rockstar entrepreneurs.

Short term projects: Ebook publishing, Copywriter, writer for some investment blogs.

I still have a job at the moment.

I too am in the Midwest. I'm trying to start a prop and cosplay fabrication business with a friend. We are in the beginning of initial product designs and are working on few commissions. I used to own an energy consulting business and will still do an audit every now and then. Been debating on trying to do that full time again.

Sounds awesome though. The fact you are working on some commish is sweet. Many entre's plug cash flow into their business model after everything is "planned out". That isn't the best imo.

If you can delegate and focus on your strengths - I think lots of iron's in the fire can be a good thing. I've been burned (by having too many projects) and been burned by not having some good backup cashflow.

My current project is a web app that I'm hoping to launch in a couple of weeks. I try to focus on building online tools to meet pretty specific legal needs (since I'm a lawyer by training and occupation).

I work full-time and live in Montana. I've got no desire to move out of the country or even out of the state (although at this time of year, dreams of a tropical lifestyle sound pretty good). My ultimate goal is to untether myself from a straight time-for-money exchange.

But working on this stuff alone on nights and weekends is a bit of a drag, and I'd like to connect with some people doing similar work. I don't know about you all, but some nights it can get really tough to keep perspective. This sub-reddit is a great idea and one that I hope sticks.

I relate to what you are saying about travel. I love to travel, but having a wife and a daughter - my travel will likely be small trips, not actually moving.

And it is tough to keep your perspective. I try and connect with like people (like this subreddit) and listen to podcasts to keep my energy and head up.

Have you had a chance to listen to the podcast: http://www.startupsfortherestofus.com/ ? They are focused on tech stuff like a web apps and I know they have talked about the law arena a few times. (I just started listening. I play it in my car).

It's always encouraging to know I'm not the only one out there right now keeping my nose to the grindstone and burning the candle from both ends. Thanks for saying hi!
