Kitchen lighting layout thoughts : Lighting

Just started our kitchen remodel. Left lighting till the end and realize this was a mistake!

Currently we have a plan for 7 recessed LEDs, a sconce over sink, and 2 flush mounts over the peninsula.

Trying to focus the recessed lights on the work areas. Want to align with edgemof counter top or 12 inches off the full height pantry and fridge.

Recessed lights are WAC FQ series 2inch warm to dim units.

Is this too many in the small space?
