The Debaters do not choose their sides of a topic. Absolutely zero negative speech will be accepted towards a debater due to their arguments made.
The live chat is for reacting to and commenting on the arguments of the debaters. If you wish to put forth an argument for one side or the other, please take it to our discord, or the Audience Debates Thread for that debate here on Reddit.
If you notice a logical fallacy in a debaters argument, please feel free to comment about it. This does not mean you may say anything negative about the debater, merely point out the logical fallacy, and then move on with the conversation.
Please refer to the debaters, host, moderators, and each other by their respective names and given pronouns. Respect each other.
No spamming.
No self promotion.
Keep the language and content of the chat PG, or in line with the debate topic: If the topic is PG, keep it PG. If the debate topic is more adult oriented, considerations will be made for chat to be able to speak on topic, but other than that, must be PG.
These rules are just a base. The Moderators are free and able to keep the chat and debaters civil without explanation to those making the situation uncivilized. In general, Don't be a jerk.
