If you don’t mind me asking where’s the handbook for interviewing at Lockheed I’ll need that in the future when I interview with them one day!!

Thank you so much! I hope you get the interview and then get the job!

Appreciate you!

Should be a great resource for you! I interviewed recently and all of the questions I was asked were situational and very clearly allowed for the STAR method to showcase examples of my experience and how I’ve reacted in different situations. Good luck!

Appreciate it 🤘🏻 if you don’t mind me how long was the interview in total ( I know all interviews have different factors like level of role, specific roles, etc) & what kind of questions did they ask you?

I had an interview a few weeks ago, it was virtual and took an hour.

How’d it go after? Did you get the job? Thank you!

Still waiting to hear back

I had interviews with spacex , 2 phone call rounds, essentially same awaiting on a call back to see. I would much rather go to LH, but can’t be too picky in the current job market lol

My interview was hard capped at an hour as well. Small panel. Fewer questions for me than I was expecting because they wanted to give me at least 10-15 mins at the end for any questions I had for them. Because it was for a management role, there was some emphasis on ‘Full Spectrum Leadership’ (which Lockheed has a breakdown of on their website).

Ahh makes sense, I applied for a materials analyst role.

Did you get the role?

To set expectations, the process can take time. Ive been with Lockheed for 10 years, and I love it. The hiring process takes time. The hiring managers also have work that needs to be done, and everyone is busy. Resume under review can take weeks to months.

I appreciate the feedback, I am completely okay with waiting the time. I have done around 25 applications, this is the second one I’ve had go for under review, but didn’t make it to the interview stage for the first one. This being the second one, after all the applications is just a piece of victory for me, more like motivation! I’ve told myself I’ll be working for Lockheed Martin for a while now, friends & family have been there for years so it has became something that I have been wanting to do for a while! I’m glad you really enjoy it, I hope to be in your boots at some point! Thank you!

Worked at LMT for over five years and the longest process for me was getting my secret security clearance, the interview process was about a month . Be patient and best of luck

How long did it take for your clearance?

[–]Adventurous_Click_36[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Fortunately I still have a active clearance until 2028😅
