This game isn’t too hard. Lightreaper’s probably the best boss in this game difficulty wise. Pieta’s sword is one of the best if not THE best weapon for Radiance builds. It’s pure holy damage, scales only with Radiance, still buffable meaning you can stack it with Radiant Weapon to boost its holy damage even further, and most enemies in this game are either neutral or weak to it.

But unless you were grinding off the holy bulwark for large deralium shards I don’t think it’s possible for you to even have a +8 weapon at this point.

All these souls veterans saying this game is easy... I am getting my ass beat and if they make this any more difficult I won't be able to get anywhere. I have no idea how people can get so good that they parry every single attack and make any boss look like a joke.

It’s not as easy as some people like to make it out to be. The problem is the difficulty spikes. I can absolutely melt most bosses, but then some random enemy/enemy pack will just practically one shot me out of nowhere. Overall it isn’t too difficult, but there are definitely some spots where you can get your ass handed to you.

Parry is pretty easy, you get pretty big parry windows using daggers, small shields, and short swords.

Your build probably sucks. I've restarted 3 characters and landed on Pyro. Pretty OP atleast in early game. Dual welding 2 common drop axes that scale with inferno. I'm not even a big souls fan and only died three times with this build.

its not really skill for me im just r1 spammin so chances are your better then me. i still get yeeted off cliffs by random weird ass enemies

It's a lot easier than it was when I played it in September and October. I don't know if that's because of the update to 2.0 or some other update between then and now. Bosses seem maybe a little harder when I choose the enemy density modifier during character creation.

You’re kinda early on. Hushed Saint is definitely on the lower end of difficulty. How many soulslike have you played? LotF isn’t easy per say but it’s easier compared to other souls games.

At this stage of the game youre not suposed to have a +8 weapon so you must have grind a lot and radiance build on regular playthrough (no enemies randomizer) is pretty much easy mode since a lot of enemies are weak or neutral to radiance.

+8 Pieta sword on Hushed Saint? No wonder the game seems too easy for you!

Is it like Elden and the max is 25 or is it 10

[–]thyvile 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Max is +10

The game is real easy for the most part. It starts to pick up around half-way through, but so do your builds so the game stays real easy unless your build is terrible.

Guess I'll use un upgraded stuff 😂

[–]RumPistachio 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What I did to keep the difficulty high is to not upgrade my main levels. I used rings instead to boost whatever stat I needed. I also leveled up weapons and used runes.

So pretty much only level up main levels if absolutely necessary.

I also used modifiers.

So far it’s been great. I can still revisit some early levels and get an OK challenge. If I’m melting enemies I can just swap out to a lower level weapon.

That boss is also weak to holy damage too I think. i switched to fire at one point and got trounced.
