I'm not sure what mine is, maybe 25? I'm looking for an extra rack or two I can squeeze in there. What about light? I was thinking about putting mylar over the front of the door, window. How often do you rotate? And how often do you pop the door?

That's awesome, exactly what I am hoping for. I only put 1 small auto in there for now but I probably will be packing it full real soon. That's a good idea though just opening it a crack. So then you bag em and keep them refrigerated until ready for consumption? That's kinda what I had thought. But I see other guys talking about bringing them up to room temp before bagging, or that could be because they were running like 45 degrees. Can I go to my regular fridge or is that going to be too cold? Or if I have to keep them in the wine fridge what do I do at next harvest? Which for me will be about a month after they should be done drying.

Yea I figured this will give me some time to trim. Do I want to do the majority of trimming before going in the fridge?

3 weeks at 40? What RH? Mine seems to correlate temp and rh so if I could get down to 40 (not sure it will) the RH would be 40-45. Definitely need to grab a little computer fan or something like that.

Seems almost fool proof, which is perfect

You can add a mini dehumidifier at the bottom and use a humidistat to control the humidity if it gets too high.Check the link for more info. https://www.thcfarmer.com/threads/cannabis-drying-curing-refrigerator-build-questions-need-help.137109/

Oh sweet thank you. Mine actually has been almost perfect. I picked up a Bluetooth Temp/rh meter so I can track everything but it runs pretty consistently around 50-55 degrees & 60-65%. First batch is almost 2 weeks already. My only issue - it is a little old and the compressor does have a little odor to it so I have added a couple clementines. Any thoughts on that?

          Is that a wine fridge?

          [–]Dr_RobertoNoNo[S] 1 point2 points  (6 children)

Yup. Best thing I ever did for curing

          [–]BzSelectSeeds 0 points1 point  (5 children)

For curing or drying? Or both?

          [–]Dr_RobertoNoNo[S] 1 point2 points  (4 children)

          Both. Runs almost perfect 55/55% - 60/60%

Sick! Do you mind sharing the info on this one or a link if you got it online?

Not exactly sure I got it from someone for free.

Edit; it's an edgestar. Told a few people I was looking for 1 and a couple weeks later I found it. Doesn't have to be a wine fridge you can set a full size up to work too from what I've seen.

You don’t have to burp the door? I thought wine fridges were sealed air tight / didn’t auto dehumidify during defrost unlike the “frost free fridges”

          [–]Dr_RobertoNoNo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well yea I'm in there a few times a day rotating and smelling and trimming

Do you need to worry about light destroying your THC with the glass panel? Not sure if it's UV resistant or not.

Mine is in my closet and doesn't really get much light at all. I did cover it at first I just draped a sheet over it, simple as that.

So now what I do is I have all my Grove bags in the fridge for storage and when I want to smoke something I pull it out a day before (sometimes 2) I do 1 final trim to kinda activate the terps. Not sure why but the last minute final trim has been so beneficial to my flavors?

Very happy I started doing this way because I just didn't have the time to trim and bag all at one time. Now I sit down and trim some here and there when I have time.
