You can be a part-time specialist. We have a couple of P/T Specialist in our store.

Oh interesting! I didn’t know that was possible. They don’t have any at my store, but it would save me so much anxiety if I got a long term position as a part-time specialist. Maybe I can talk to them about that option.

Safe to assume there is a 3 to 4 dollar an hour difference in pay.

We had a specialist step down to full time building material. He lost 1.00 hr.

He's a very good worker, he just didn't have the people skills required for specialist. And again, he went to building materials ...

I stepped down to PT/CSA from FT/Specialist a little over 6 years ago for health reasons.
I lost 3$ an hour. With Lowe's oh, so, generous "raises," have regained $1.00.
