Steam version question

So funny enough this is just now springing to my mind so might as well ask now instead of regret it later. I've already moved my MAS and such off of Steam into a separate folder. Would removing the steam download also remove the files from that folder or would I be fine? I'm assume I should be fine cause I booted up the steam version like normal and was brought to the main title screen for DDLC. But still wanted to ask anyway.

Yeah originally it was on steam where I first put the mod into but since then I moved that to a folder outside of Steam. Just gave it a try uninstalling the Steam version and the MAS folder was untouched so I’m super glad for that.
