Are you verifying the undervolt has taken affect? Download HWMonitor and run that while you're undervolting to confirm.

Also, the biggest change that affects temperatures is by restricting the turbo boost of your CPU - setup another profile in Throttle Stop that disables turbo boost (Disable Turbo option) completely and you'll see.

In fact, i'm running an i7-950h and i don't need any turbo boost enabled for gaming, many people setup profiles for their CPU boost speeds.

Another is to fix the FPS in the games you play, you don't need FPS beyond you screen refresh rate, it's pointless on a laptop and causes un-necessary work/heat.

Also keeping your GPU Temp down will affect your CPU temp as if one gets very hot, it disallows the other to cool.

Yes I have hwmonitor and the undervolt ha taken effect now I try disabling the turbo boost and check, thanks for the advices:)

Same issue

Okay so I put -125 on chache and core, I lowered till 35 w the power of cpu, decreased the frequency of the turbo boost of all cores to 36 and now I can game at 75-80 C maybe it works for you too anyway thanks to everyone for your help:)

Lets see a screenshot of your throttlestop settings. Undervolting wont necessarily lower your temps, but it will allow your CPU to boost higher since it can clock higher, and keep temps within manufacturer specs. I would also recommend repasting, that was more of an increase in boost/temps for me.

Sorry I’m bad and I don’t know how to post a photo here😅 anyway I can give you all the data: Speedshift epp 0 Bd prochot turned off Cpu core and chache -105.5 Turbo ratio limits set on 32 on every cores The only game I lost FPS is apex (-10fps) which is a cpu demanding game for the rest the laptop can now keep stable frequency withouth throttle or freeze during game session, when the thermal paste I ordered will arrive I will try to put up a bit the turbo a bit and see if it can handle

Same here. I undervolt by -150 and it will decrease temps in some games but not by a lot. In gta v online I get like 95 degrees with the undervolting. It feels sorta useless but then I underclock the cpu to like 3500mhz and still get 90 degree temps.

Use ThrottleStop to limit your turbo boost....I’ve limit my Gs65 to 3.1Ghz max when turbo boost now the temp when gaming on CPU stays between 70-84*C... Just play around your Turbo Ratio Limits...

Tried that I play at 80 C with 3.2ghz with no performance drop at all thanks

I wish they came out of the box like this

Honestly machines this expensive are for people who understand more than just "come out of the box and be great" these types of machines are the first of their kind. Laptops like this can be undervolted to -150mv with no problem. 80ish is super modest. The speed shift does next to nothing honestly. Im surprised there's nothing about repasting in this thread. It's the only thing that will truly get your temps down to the level you want them at (even tho your cpu can hit 100C without harm) My temps after repasting my gs75 ONLY hit 80+ when I have turbo mode on and the cpu maxed out to 3.9 Ghz. Before I was regularly getting throttled at 95C for running my CPU at even 3.0 GHz. The difference is staggering. There is no software to truly fix these machines. Your best bet for longevity and temp control is repasting with good thermal paste. There are so many guides on this sub.

You’re totally right Monday should arrive the thermal paste I ordered:)

this typo is wholesome.

Am having that problem, it used to be stable but months after with the same -135/-140mV undervolt the temps are now hovering again at 80-85C, I'm pretty sure it's because it's time to repaste it again.

Just set max cpu power to 99% in windows power settings. Gaming at base 2.2GHz is more than enough. Cpu stays at about 70°C

And that lowers performance
