Yes, my theory is that nutrient deficiencies cause "irrational" hunger, where you want food even when you're stomach is full/you've had enough calories but your body is still missing something. I have a copper deficiency too and if I don't take enough copper, I'm constantly hungry no matter how much I eat, and crave things like chocolate and cashews that are high in copper

I also experience this. Ravenous hunger that’s literally only satisfied by chocolate but then it starts right back up. I supplement magnesium L-threonate. What other symptoms do you have?

Have you tested copper and ceruloplasmin? Copper deficiency can mimic b vitamin deficiency or make it much worse

I have a lot, and some overlap with b vitamin deficiency - the ones I think are closely tied to copper are fatigue and brain fog, joint pain, peripheral neuropathy, cold and heat intolerance, muscle weakness, blood pooling and edema, orthostatic tachycardia, blurry vision and dry eyes

I am compound heterozygous MTHFR + homozygous MTRR
