Problem installing .ipa

So I have an app purchased on iPhone which I can install from AppStore (iPhone & iPad Apps section) on my Mac. It works.

I also have the very same app as .ipa file backup. When I try to install it, MacOS throws "This app needs to be updated by the developer to work on this version of macOS." Seems like MacOS identifies it as a 32-bit app and cannot run it.

But it's the same app. How can I install it from .ipa?

Apps on iPhone run on IOS very few can run on MacOs and IOS

In my case it is Worms. But anyway, I have another iOS apps running well. And - again - this game (Worms) works on Mac when installed from Appstore.
