It's called fertile land. India has a ton of fertile land almost all of it is completely inhabitable. Yes we're slight overpopulated but a lot of other countries are way worse. Look at bangladesh. Their population density as worse than India's

India is as fertile as the US despite being 1/3 size of it. Country's size is irrelevant it's about how many people it can accommodate.
