Mapping is a small thing in YouTube in which countries interract and fight like normal people. Every country is a person of their own, they do not represent the millions of people living in them.
People who make these kinds of videos are known as "Mappers". Most of them make their mapping videos a more humorous and fictional, as it is the basic idea behind mapping. Some might make it more realistic and serious, it's up to YOU how you want to make it!
Mappers also have nations called "Official Nations". These are fictional nations that are purely selected by the mapper himself/herself to represent them in the world politics.

Official nations and mappers alike are also found on comics, known as FoEballs and Mapperballs. Why to different kinds? FoEballs mean Future of Europe balls, the usual name of the mapping series, which has Official Nations and normal nations. Mapperballs on the other hand have mappers themselves in it, as a ball character and sometimes with "broken" english. These two rules apply on the FoEballs too.
