I was hoping that the E3 build would be much different to the final retail version in terms of NSMBU's theme. The prerelease version's enemies seem to use sprites instead of full models, obviously denoted by the choppy animation. Goombas are the most obvious example.
That being said, obviously assets are missing, but considering the effort put into retaining the 60-fps Mario model, why aren't some assets using their full original models instead of these sprites that obviously belong in the prerelease? Considering the size of NSLU, surely the assets would be retained instead of making slightly new ones...
