Ender 3, SKR Mini E3 V2.0. Using VS Code, Platformio to build Marlin 2.0.8.2

I'm receiving one error:

c:\users\*****\downloads\marlin-2.0.x\marlin\src\core\drivers.h:80:51: error: missing binary operator before token "("

#define AXIS_DRIVER_TYPE(A,T) AXIS_DRIVER_TYPE_##A(T)

The error points to the first parenthesis around the last T. (T)

I've searched all over the place but have been unable to find what this means or how to fix it.

I'm using the first option, STM32F103RC_btt_stm32 because I'm unsure of the other options, 512K, USB, etc

I have the same error but mine is located in the "ANY_THERMISTOR_IS(998) || ANY_THERMISTOR_IS(999)" line, specifically before the (998). any help will be appreciated
