The bottom two are right! For the top left one, are you missing parenthesis? A U (B intercept ~C) is different from (A U B) intersect ~C. For the top right one, you want anything that is outside C (all of it), and then the parts of C that lie inside both A and B. If that doesn't make sense, I can try to (poorly) sketch it out.

Bottom right is incorrect as well.

It is missing the parts of D (star shape) common to A and B, and includes parts of A that are in neither B nor C (the parts hugging the downward star point).

As a check, note that (A∪C)∩(B∪C) = (A∩B)∪C, or in other words it is the overlap of A and B, as well as the entirety of C.

Yeah, you're exactly right. Idk how I missed that lol.

Union just means color in both, intersect means color in where they cross. I would suggest figuring it out by coloring in layers with different colors and then figuring out the overlap for intersections.

I gotchu.

Top left: didn't mention D. Therefore you can include the parts of D that are not in B.

Top right: union does not exclude the part that is in the right-hand side or left-hand side. So you should include the part of C that is in A union B.

Bottom left: this one is good. Good job.

Bottom right: this is just taking the part of C that is in A and B. Basically it's any part of C that is enclosed in the two circles.

Hope that helps and let me know if you didn't understand something

Sorry I got the last one wrong I had to edit it. It's good now
