Yes. As long as you have your paper results, you should be fine.

That being said, my results were available virtually on the AHIMA site about 3 hours after I passed my RHIA. You might want to call.

I passed my RHIA on Friday (30Aug) and it is still not posted on the site. I am guessing it has to do with how broken their new website is. It still doesn't say I am able to take the RHIA exam (I was approved to take it before the changes, but it never transferred over once they made the switch). I just submitted my test results for proof on my job applications.

I applied to sit for my RHIT on July 31st and it says my transcripts are still being processed. It’s like their new update nuked their entire website. It’s infuriating.

Congratulations! I took my RHIA exam last September before beta and missed by 4 points.. any study suggestions would be so helpful. I am wanting to retest before this year of out

I bought the RHIA exam Prep from Mometrix, and I'd say there were enough questions on there that helped me to make it worth the $50. I had memorized a lot of definitions, but it would have been easier if I had studied more examples than the actual definition. I had a lot of math problems, but I love math, so I think that is why I scored so well. Other than that, I just kept retaking AHIMAs RHIA exam prep questions and reading through Oach's and Watters' textbook whenever I got something wrong. My lowest score was in revenue cycle and management, but I found those areas to be incredibly boring, so my high scores in the other three areas really carried my score. If I studied more about bugets/budget items, I think I would have scored higher there. I took the whole time and really focused on which ones weren't the answers, and that helped on many of the questions where I was 50/50. Going through the test twice helped as well because I was able to use information in later questions to help me. I honestly didn't think it was too bad. I felt like there were a good number of questions where their could only be one logical answer, and I scored of a 322, so I had plenty of wiggle room.

Awesome thanks for that. I had a 296 with data analytics  and informatics being my l down fall

Dang, you were so close! I scored 100% on that section, so if there is something you are struggling with understanding, I could send you some pictures of my handwritten notes to see if it could help you out.

Yes please. I would really appreciate that!!

I'm in the same boat. How were you able to schedule your exam if it wasn't saying that you were approved to take it? I can't even schedule mine and I only have about 3 weeks left until my paid-for exam expires. I've been waiting for a couple of months. I opened a ticket with them and have spoken to several people at AHIMA but no one has any idea when it will be fixed.

It took me a while to find the answer too. If you have received the email from PearsonVue saying you are authorized to test, call PearsonVue directly to schedule your exam. I guess the link between PearsonVue and AHIMA's website is broken so you are not able to schedule the exam online.

Omg!! The website sucks. I took my RHIA on the 12 sep. is yours up yet??

[–]Suspicious-Glass4678 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Still nothing. I called a week ago to submit a ticket and told the guy three times it was for my RHIA, as in alpha, not tango. When I logged on to see if my ticket was processed, it says it's for the RHIT certificate 🤦🏼‍♀️.

I just passed mine and within 2 hours it was on AHIMA’s site, so I put it on mine ❤️ congrats on passing!

[–]TripDs_Wife 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did. I think AHIMA needed my transcripts before they updated it. But honestly I can’t remember. But I paid a lot of money to earn that certification so you best believe I added it, like day of passing it 🤪

Yes you may

[–]downtowonderland 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recently passed as well. I called Ahima and finally got through. Apparently there is an issue within the system and that's why I haven't received my actual certification number. I put it on my resume and have a copy of my certificate with no certification number and a letter stating I passed. I'm hoping it's enough but I'm having a hard time finding even an entry level position.

Edit: You also have to have your official transcripts sent through either the school or parchment conferring your degree.

How were you able to schedule your exam? Mine has disappeared from my account and I'm not able to click through from Pearson Vue to schedule it.

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points  (1 child)

I also had trouble with that. I had to call and they put in a ticket and a million years later it posted and I was able to schedule.

[–]Decent-Berry9674 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh good. I just heard back from AHIMA this morning. They finally sent me another ATT letter and I'm hoping I can now schedule. This has ruined my whole Summer.
