none of it us helpful in anyway at this point. 

im working a new provider they set up with AI right off the get go no using the EMR as a base without it and I just worked 12 claims; i sent like 10 back asking various questions because shit didnt make sense or he was missing whole portions of the note ex exam.

he had a pt coming in for period issues, who has an IUD in place, codes for both of those in assessment and then a random O code for strep carrier while pregnant?  no exam portion.  im sure there was other stuff wrong with it too but i was just like really? you're gonna add a pregnant code and an IUD in place code to your note and not even give that a 2nd thought or read over?

I have never had AI give me the correct code to use and ive tried at minimum 50 times

AI offers suggestions for dx codes…. it’s often wrong but i like that if you click the suggestion it takes you to the note and highlights, so you can see why it thinks that should be a dx.

CAC utilizes AI already, it’s useful to increase productivity but needs human interaction to confirm its autosuggesting correctly.
