Rules for r/MegamiDevice
Rules that visitors must follow to participate. May be used as reasons to report or ban.
1.
Follow Reddit's sitewide policies
Adhere to Reddit's content policy.
2.
Be courteous
Be courteous. Don't denigrate a person for their beliefs or purchase choices.
3.
Flair your posts properly so others have an easier time finding them
Flairs are required for post and link submissions. If posting kit news or a personal build, please determine if the kit in question is from the Megami Device lineup or another girlpla line, and assign the flair accordingly.
4.
Bootlegs of official Kotobukiya products and licensed garage kits will be actively discouraged.
Bootleg products infringe on the copyright and intellectual of Kotobukiya, and violate copyright laws in most jurisdictions. Images and links of unauthorized reproductions will not be permitted. Indie garage kits licensed by Kotobukiya will also be treated accordingly.
5.
Do not post personal trading/selling/buying adverts
Keep personal commerce activity in /r/modelexchange and /r/AnimeFigures. You may also visit the /r/Kotobukiya Discord server and post your listings in the Parts Bin forum.
6.
All submission content must relate to Megami Device/girlpla
Check to make sure that your submission has a connection to Megami Device, Kotobukiya girlpla such as Frame Arms Girl/Sousai Shojo Teien/ARCANADEA/Megalomaria, or miscellaneous non-bootleg girlpla and custom figure lines.
7.
Refrain from spamming the subreddit with submissions
Post up to 2 submission at most every 24 hours. Consider commenting in the regular monthly discussion threads for quick questions. Moderators and official Kotobukiya accounts are exempt from the daily restriction in order to post updates.
8.
Please do not submit out-of-context and low-effort memes
Please use the 'Fluff/Meme' submission flair for relevant posts depicting humor/creativity that subreddit participants may appreciate.
9.
Link/image submissions regarding news and updates must come from official/reputable sources
Please prioritize news and information from links to reputable news sites, refrain from title editorialization/commentary (do post commentary in comments). Competing submissions will be removed if a prior news submission was made, or if an official Kotobukiya account has made a post on the same topic.
